On Wednesday, we enjoyed an educational program called "A Treasure Grows Behind the Door." The children were introduced by the herb elves to four medicinal plants: elderberry, lemon balm, motherwort and yarrow, and learned how to identify and use them. They made their own elderberry beads, herbal salt and even their own herbal tea blend, which they all enjoyed tasting. All the activities were amazing and we all enjoyed the program very much.
